Last night, CalArts premiered their annual Open Show, an 8-hour long compilation of all the films created that year by Character Animation.
With that, here are the two films of mine shown last night, my final film Combusted…
…and Hell Yeah! Piranha, a free-for-all created earlier this year for the 48-Hour Lockdown.
All in all, a spectacular show. Will post more info later.

Hey Andrew! I LOVE both of these little jewels.. your animation is SO smooth and your characters are so expressive
Awesome work man, I can’t wait to see what you do next year! I heard you were staying down here for the summer, so maybe I’ll see you? I hope so!
Thanks Kristen!
I’ll be hanging around Woodglen Apts for the summer. That, or in the CharAnim labs… let me know when you’re around.
"Combusted" rules, that ‘Ugly Hill’ strip was reminiscent of "Lunchmeat" way back when from the Quill. It keeps getting better, sir. Keeps getting better. So happy for you.
Make the ‘Film’ section, already! You can upload stuff from "Solitude and Malice" ("You’re not my real family! None of you really love me!"), "My State of Mind", "Typewriter at the Edge of the Ocean", and "I Had a Dream in Which I Was an Artist". You know, the classics, haha.
But where are the films?
