And you have to spend a great deal of picking and squishing to get it out of the box? And once you do get it out of the box– likely, all you’re left with is a mashed-up wad of sticky raisin material?

Four Seasons
Thursday, May 14th, 2009Drew these caricatures while hanging in this upscale-ish lounge at the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills.
There were quite the number of… interesting characters there. One of them apparently a distinguished South Korean military official, who had just a few too many and began earnestly (very loudly) hitting on the lounge singer’s publicist.
“Ey, I… I’d ah, really like to meet you– your sister. You… do you have a si– sister? Cause I’dliketomeether!”
Good times. There was also that one dude who totally looked like Daniel Plainview from There Will Be Blood. I very nearly offered him a milkshake.

First up: Co-worker’s kid asked if I could draw Lilo. Hey would I ever say no? No! –’cept just then. Rock on, Chris Sanders.
Next: Brent and Jade Sienna! Drew them a while ago, but never posted it. If you don’t already read the exceptional webcomic series PvP (Player Vs. Player) by Scott Kurtz, then I suggest you start!
Powerpuffs and Dexter! Watched these three on Boomerang last weekend. Hard to believe they’re considered ‘classics’ at this point. Ah… nostalgia attack!
Capping off with an unfinished drawing of Yoda, focusing his wrath unto some misunderstood Col-Erase squiggles. May the force be with them.

Humph.
While I do enjoy the design challenges, etc. that programming a website can present, building this blog from scratch is taking waaay longer than desired.
Specifically, I have virtually no time to do it. This, coupled with a lack of any CMS whatsoever, makes posting regularly very inconvenient.
So… biting the bullet, I’ve switched over to WordPress; with the intention of reapplying the previous layout as a custom theme sooner than later.
