November 19th, 2008Star Party
May 19th, 2008Take a break, walk outside and gaze up into the sky.
Depending upon the weather, time of day and perhaps where you live, you’ll find the eye-opening inspiration for this digital painting; simply put, an homage to astronomy.
And now, a quote by Brian Greene…
“I have long thought that anyone who does not regularly – or ever – gaze up and see the wonder and glory of a dark night sky filled with countless stars loses a sense of their fundamental connectedness to the universe.”
Open Show ‘08
April 27th, 2008Last night, CalArts premiered their annual Open Show, an 8-hour long compilation of all the films created that year by Character Animation.
With that, here are the two films of mine shown last night, my final film Combusted…
…and Hell Yeah! Piranha, a free-for-all created earlier this year for the 48-Hour Lockdown.
All in all, a spectacular show. Will post more info later.
Too Ugly for Words
April 4th, 2008
Took a quick break from final film work (what??) to complete a guest strip for Paul Southworth’s killer webcomic, Ugly Hill.
Among other things, it’s a graphic slew of politics, booze, the FCC, lawn-care and Starburst.
Life in the Year 2008.

Modern Mechanix posts an interesting insight into the far off future, 40 years before the fact.

Pandamedics
March 24th, 2008Though based on actual events, the irony presented in this depection of two EMTs enjoying their meals at the much revered Chinese fast-food chain seemed much more distinct when originally concieved.
In other news, films are due in less than a month. “Crunch Time” is now.
Year of the Frog
February 29th, 2008A very Happy Birthday to all those not only fortunate enough to be born today, Leap Day… but forbearing enough to take this Gregorian band-aid solution in stride.
Just don’t hurt yourself with all that, eh… leaping you’ll be doing.
A Matter of Faith?
February 26th, 2008Taken at the ArcLight Hollywood in LA, a madman preaches his hypocrisy unto easy to anger nerds the unassuming populous.
I particularly enjoy the potentially destructive ramifications of an epic fist fight between Noah’s Ark and the Millennium Falcon. So why dismiss this hypothetical battle so outright? It deserves to be explored.
In a way, I kind of wish this dude wasn’t completely fake. But hey… one day, maybe the real deal will show. There are plenty of ichthys in the sea, right?
